Born in Connecticut, Nick Fradiani would be raised around music, as his father would perform in clubs and restaurants and even on cruise ships. When he was two years old, he would get a drum set for his birthday, and he was also encouraged to learn how to play the piano in the guitar. After graduating from Wheaton College in Massachusetts, he would get a bachelor’s degree in history and work as a substitute teacher, performing at gigs in local bars whenever he could. He also briefly worked as a computer software salesman before he would eventually begin to dive deeper into music as a career.
In 2011, he would join a band and perform in the battle of the bands. They would also, under the stage name Beach Avenue, gain significant recognition after they competed on the 9th season of the reality TV show, America’s Got Talent.The audition was aired, and it was a huge career break for him, and the band would make it to judgment week, but they would be eliminated. After this, Nick Fradiani would have his heart set on performing for American Idol, and eventually winning.
When he joined the show, he would ultimately win and be offered a record deal, like every other individual winner of the show. As a result, Nick Fradiani achieved significant success, and he was even invited to perform at shows with Rob Thomas, as well as many other individuals in the music industry. Since his win, he continued to make more music, releasing his debut studio album, Hurricane, in 2016.
