This Is How We Do It

Our team of booking liaisons, creative directors, and producers collaborate closely with each organization, institution, and initiative to build the vision of the evening. From there, we will curate the talent line-up with an eye on impact and evening segmentation, and secure the right entertainment. We can book high-level celebrities to host the evening or emcee the auction, and thought leaders to deliver the keynote message. And we’ll get everyone dancing with amazing bands that will raise the paddle and the roof.

We worked with Jay Siegan Presents to book Notorious for the 2019 PNOC (Pacific Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Consortium Foundation) Gratitude Gala at Sweetwater Music Hall, Mill Valley! The team at Jay Siegan Presents was great to work with for our fall gala benefitting Marin Charitable. We had booked Wonder Bread 5 for our Oct. 26th event. That day came and so did the power outages that struck all of Marin. We had to act quickly and cancel our event on that very day! Jay and his fabulous team worked in lockstep with us to rebook our event for a future date. We had a new date firmed up in less than 24 hours.

We had our event last night and I could not have been more pleased with the planning and communications prior to the event, the set up crew, and of course, Wonder Bread 5 knocked it out of the park with all the best 80s and 90s hits! Such a talented and engaging group of musicians! We have gotten so much positive feedback and would work with them in the future with great pleasure!

Whether corporate, private, or public, all events fall into three primary categories: live, virtual, or hybrid. Before wrapping up, review each category and consider which types of corporate events are best suited for each. Many of the event types in our list can take place in person, virtually, or through a hybrid event. Corporate event planners and businesses can choose which types of corporate events best fit their needs, objectives, and budget.

Live

During live or in-person events, the hosts, speakers, presenters, and audience members are all in the same physical space.

Although pop-up events occur, most live events occur on a specific date, at a designated time, and in a particular location. In-person corporate events include team retreats, company picnics, conferences, awards ceremonies, large-scale conventions, and many others.

Virtual

Thanks to virtual meeting platforms, mobile apps, and easy-to-use streaming software, many corporate events can now take place remotely, including training sessions, business meetings, performance reviews, and more.

During virtual events,attendees and hosts participate in real time. Virtual presentations can also be prepared in advance, including a blend of recorded and live elements or entirely pre-recorded. Webinars and video conferences are a few of the most recognizable virtual event styles.

Do you offer a nonprofit discount?

Yes. We are proud to offer a nonprofit pricing schedule and strategy so that nonprofits get the best celebrity appearances, notable artists, comedians, and MCs for their galas. For the last 25 years, we have skillfully honed the process of working with talent’s established fees and presenting them with the best offer to secure bookings for nonprofits.

Can we use the band sound system for our auction?

Here’s how it works: We bring the band, their sound system, and lights. There are additional fees to use the sound system for auctions and special announcements, customized on a case-by-case basis. We invite you to fill out our RFP (request for proposal), so that we can align your needs, and budget, and create a magnificent event for you.

Should i tip the band?

Tips are not required or expected, but they are appreciated by hard working musicians.If you feel inspired by the passion and energy they brought to your wedding, tipping is a lovely gesture. 10% - 20% is a common tip. You can give that in cash to the artist on site or send it to us as a payment and we distribute it directly to the band!
