David Coulthard, one of the world’s most recognized sports personalities, is a former Formula 1 Grand Prix driver, broadcaster, author, and entrepreneur. Born in Twynholm, Scotland, he began kart racing at 11, later winning the Macau Grand Prix and the McLaren Autosport Young Driver of the Year Award. He debuted in Formula 1 with Williams in 1994, securing his first victory in 1995 before moving to McLaren, where he won 12 more Grands Prix. He later helped establish Red Bull Racing’s success before retiring in 2008. Coulthard co-founded Whisper and Velocity Experience, leads the British Racing Drivers Club, and promotes diversity in motorsport through More Than Equal. A TV commentator and brand ambassador, he was awarded an MBE in 2010.
