Tim Cook is an American business executive and engineer who has been the CEO of Apple since 2011. He would serve under the former CEO, Steve Jobs, for multiple years before taking over the company. He would first join Apple in 1998 when he was merely the senior vice president of worldwide operations. He would also become the executive vice president for worldwide sales and operations shortly after. Prior to Jobs’ death, he would be appointed the new CEO of the company to carry on Jobs’ legacy at Apple.
