The Mavericks, an eclectic rock and country band founded in Miami in 1989, have seen their core members evolve from young adults to veteran musicians. Their journey includes three distinct phases: initial success in the '90s with big hits and critical acclaim, a hiatus starting in 2003, and a triumphant reunion in 2012. Now, the band is entering a fourth phase with their first all-Spanish album, "En Español," released on their Mono Mundo label. This new chapter features founding members Raul Malo and Paul Deakin, longtime member Jerry Dale McFadden, and Eddie Perez.
