Scott Bloom is an American actor and film producer who was born in Merrick, New York.He’s the brother of actor Brian Bloom and musician Mike Bloom. He would begin acting at a young age, first appearing in the cult horror film, The Stuff, which was released in 1985.He would also appear in numerous TV movies and series, most notably grabbing the role of Jesse Nash in the sitcom Who’s the Boss?, which would run from 1987 until 1988.
Over the years, he has numerous other film credits that he has been able to put onto his record. In the early 2000s, he would star in Don’s Plum with Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire. Additionally, Bloom would also have roles in John Q alongside greats like Denzel Washington and Robert Duvall, Smokin’ Aces, which would also be next to legends like Ray Liotta, Ryan Reynolds, and Jeremy Piven.
Other than his acting credits, Scott Bloom has also ventured into the world of producing. He created Argonaut Pictures in 2006. They have specialized in numerous films, most recognizable of them all being Welcome to the Rileys, which would hire Kristen Stewart, James Gandolfini, and Melissa Leo in 2010. He has numerous other production credits and continues to be active in the industry today.
