Miles Teller was born in Downingtown, Pennsylvania and spent much of his early childhood years on the east coast. However, he would embark on the journey to stardom when he would get accepted to the New York University Tisch School of the Arts, where he would study method acting. Earning his BFA in 2009, he would then begin to make his entrance into the world of Hollywood. In his personal life, he has been in a relationship with Keleigh Sperry since 2013 and they have tied the knot, back in 2019 in Maui.
In 2004, he began to appear in multiple smaller projects. He would make his major film debut in 2010 when he was in Rabbit Hole, which he was hand-picked for by Nicole Kidman. In 2013, he would begin to gain more visibility when he would star opposite Shailene Woodley in The Spectacular Now. One of his most recognized roles was as Peter Hayes in the Divergent, Insurgent, and Allegiant. He would also star as Mister Fantastic in Fantastic Four. Since then, he has only increased his star potential.
His most recent work was with Top Gun: Maverick. Originally, he was hesitant to be in the movie since he believed that this would completely change his life. However, he was convinced to accept by none other than Tom Cruise himself, and he would remark that this film was one of the best experiences of his life. In his own words, Teller said that he’s “never really experienced something like this in my life”. Many have eyes on Teller, knowing that this is only the beginning for him.
