Marc Rebillet is a French American electronic musician and YouTuber from Dallas but now lives in New York City. Growing up, he studied piano and classical music until he was fifteen, when he attended the Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas. He would first go viral in 2007 when he was interviewed in Dallas for Fox 4 while waiting for the iPhone in line. This video received more than four million views.
Later, Marc decided to attend Southern Methodist University to study acting, but he dropped out. From there, he would work as a server, executive assistant, and also in a call center while producing music on the side under the name "Leae ."After that, he would move to New York City for a brief period of time. His professional music career began in 2016 when he published videos of himself on YouTube for people to watch. After that, he would improvise songs in his bedroom, hotels, and more, often in nothing but boxers. Finally, however, he would begin collecting a fan base and even start to go on tours, which would be halted because of the pandemic.
More recently, his work continues to be distributed via YouTube and his own brand, as he focused on maintaining control over his branding and his creative agency as a musician. He currently posts on YouTube and Twitch for live streams to produce music. He has released three studio albums, including Marc Rebillet, Europe, and Loop Daddy III. He’s also released two extended plays, including Loop Daddy and Loop Daddy II.
