She is the daughter of Bruce Dern and Diane Ladd, and she began acting in the 1980s and rose to prominence for her performance in Mask, Blue Velvet, and Wild at Heart. She would also star in the classic film, Jurassic Park, and all the sequels for the movie that appeared in 1993.
Laura Dern was born and raised in Los Angeles to two famous actors. Early on as a child, she would star as an extra in White Lightning in 1973, alongside her mother as the star. She would also receive her chance for her film debut in Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore in 1974, next to her mother as the other main role. She would fight for emancipation at the age of sixteen to work for longer hours as an adult in the film industry.
