Claire Saffitz is an American food writer, chef, and YouTube personality. Her YouTube channel has more than 880 thousand subscribers and she has totaled over 37 million views for her videos. She was a former contributing editor to the Bon Appétit magazine until the middle of 2020. Her most famous series, Gourmet Makes, shows popular snacks that have been turned gourmet.
In her early years, she was born in St. Louis and would later attend Harvard University, where she would study U.S. history and literature.
