Charissa Thompson is an American television host and sportscaster for Fox Sports currently. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, but would spend her childhood in Seattle, Washington. She knew she wanted to be a sportscaster from the beginning, and she would even study Law and Society in college. She would begin her career in 2007 when she would appear on numerous college shows.
Thompson's work would begin with Big Ten Network and Fox Sports Net. She would be a sideline reporter for college football and college basketball. She would also continue doing this while working as a sideline reporter for the NFL on Fox. For Big Ten Network, Charissa would also host Big Ten’s Best and Friday Night Tailgate.
More recently, she co-hosted Extra alongside Mario Lopez and Tracey Edmonds. She also hosted "Barstool Spelling Bee" in 2015 and Ultimate Beastmaster in 2016. Currently, she lives in Malibu, California, and she is married to Kyle Thousand, a sports agent. She has previously been linked to other notable celebrities, including Jay Williams, a former Chicago Bulls player.
