Channel Tresis an American rapper, singer, and record producer from Compton in California. He was born in 1991 and would grow up in southern Los Angeles. He was raised by his great grandparents and spent most of his days at church where he played drums for the choir. He would leave home to study music at a private Christian university in Tulsa, but we returned to Los Angeles and be brought into studio sessions by childhood friend. There, he would begin to make beats and rise to fame working with individuals like Duckwrth, Wale, and Kehlani.
Following his return to Los Angeles, he would rise to fame in 2018 due to his song, “Controller”, which would first chart in Britain. He would also get notable attention from Australia as well, and it would become one of the biggest called hits of the year. He would continue to see for their success with his self-titled EP, for this angles, and even play headline shows in the United States in 2019. Since then, he has released three other extended plays as well as multiple singles.
Other than his efforts with his own music, he has also remixed notable other songs, working with individuals like Mark Ronson, King Princess, and Tyler, The Creator. As an artist, Channel Tres has been defined as an individual who has boldly redefining what house music means for a new generation, and he is becoming the new dance king of Los Angeles according to many individuals in the industry.
