Bianca Ryan is an American musician, singer, and songwriter from Philadelphia. She was the first winner of the TV show, America’s Got Talent, when she was only 11 years old. She would sing Broadway show tunes along the way, securing her win at the very end of the season. Her self-titled first album would be released in 2006, followed by two Christmas albums and two more singles over the course of her teenage years. She took a break to finish her education, but she would post a video to her YouTube channel in 2014 to signal her return to music.
Since 2017, Bianca Ryan has continued to produce music, releasing singles such as “Man Down” and “Remember”. Her EP, The Reintroduction, Pt. 1, was released in 2019 and she also made a second Christmas EP available in 2020, with a series of videos made for the holidays. Other than her musical pursuits, Bianca Ryan has also been in movies and TV shows. She acted in the feature film,12 and Holding, in 2005, and she also was the lead role in music video in 2010 by the band, The Wrecking. Additionally, she also was in the independent film in 2014,We Are Kings. She was featured as one of the musicians guided by an angel to help save a man from freezing to death.
Aside from her music and her acting, she has had a few issues regarding her health. Bianca Ryan underwent two vocal surgeries and another domino surgery in 2016 after a doctor told her that she was at high risk for esophageal cancer. With one of her vocal cords paralyzed, she was told she might never sing again, but she felt like she was given a new voice and she was told that it was too successful. She felt that it was time for her to get back into music, which is why she began releasing music around 2016, giving people a glimpse into the new her and the new voice that she has today.
